New Director is Announced
The Belton Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the hiring of Diane Huckshorn as the new Executive Director. She will assume her full-time role on October 6. Huckshorn is no stranger to the Chamber as she has held a seat on the Board for the last 5 years as Events Coordinator and has been an active supporter of the Chamber and Belton Community.
Huckshorn and her family are long time Belton residents and Belton grads. Many Belton residents may already know her from a 24 year career in the Belton School District where she is currently employed. Her husband's family, Jim Huckshorn worked for George Funeral Home and Midge Huckshorn owned and operated Midge's Apparel for many years. Huckshorn's husband, Curt, is the Fire Chief for Central Cass County Fire Protection District. They have been married for 39 years and their daughter, son in law and granddaughter also call Belton home.
"I am honored to accept my new position with the Chamber and I look forward to a working partnership with all area businesses and organizations. I am very proud and so excited to be a part of Belton's growth and future", said Huckshorn.
Please plan to stop by the Chamber office at 323 Main Street, or call 816-331-2420, to visit and welcome our new Director.
