Business Building / Marketing

Business Referrals: Many people walk through our doors daily or call to ask about a certain type of product or service in our area. As a Chamber Member, your name and any other information we can provide about you is given to those potential customers. Member businesses also have the opportunity to display brochures and business cards in the Chamber office.

Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide: Published annually, members receive two free listings – one alphabetically and one by category with display ad opportunities throughout the Directory. This is an excellent business building tool that works very hard for you all year long. Membership Directories are available to the public everyday at the Chamber office and are distributed to anyone requesting information about our community or joining the Chamber.

Membership Marketing Opportunities: From our Newsletter advertising, Mass email program, to our Membership Luncheon Meeting Sponsorship, our goal is to help promote your business. For more information please call the Chamber office at 816.331.2420.

Ribbon Cuttings/Open Houses/Ground Breakings: Celebrate your business opening, relocation, or anniversary with this special “members only” service. The entire membership and local media are invited to share in your new venture.

Website / Links: www.beltonmochamber.org is the Chamber’s online connection to its members, local community and the world giving you exposure to hundreds of potential customers every month. Members are listed alphabetically with website links provided at no charge. Members can view the Chamber’s Calendar of Events, search for fellow members and access community links and information.

Networking / Special Events

General Membership Luncheons: These well attended monthly luncheons are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at various locations and feature guest speakers with information relevant to our business community. New members are introduced and allowed the opportunity to speak briefly about their business and display business cards and/or brochures. Reservations required by 1:00 p.m. the day before – $15/Member. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon program from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Please note: General Membership Luncheons are not scheduled in August (replaced by Annual Steak Fry) and December (replaced by Awards Banquet).

First Friday Coffees: One of our most popular networking events for building new business relationships and staying connected to the business community. Members have the opportunity to host and/or attend this monthly event. The first Friday of each month 7:30-9:00 a.m. Call the Chamber office for more information on hosting this event.

Business After Hours: A monthly event designed to promote your business in a fun laid-back atmosphere. Members have the opportunity to host and/or attend this monthly event. Meet other business owners and managers, gain exposure and gather ideas. Call the Chamber office for more information on hosting this event.

Golf Tournament: Held in May of each year at Loch Lloyd Golf Course. This event is a mixture of recreation and networking with great food and prizes making it one of the Chamber’s leading fundraising and business building events of the year.

Steak Fry: Held in August, the Chamber’s Annual Steak Fry is a true favorite. A designated Chamber “steak grilling committee” cooks up the steaks and members each bring a side dish. Great networking and incredible food make this an event you won’t want to miss.

Annual Holiday Banquet: This special evening features gourmet food, entertainment, networking and is host to the annual recognition presentations. All members are invited to attend this fun holiday season event held in December.

Committees: One of the best ways to reap benefits from your investment in the Chamber is by becoming a volunteer on one of the Chamber committees. This is an excellent way to become active and well connected in the Belton community. The Chamber sponsors numerous committees that focus on many topics, ensuring that a wide variety of member needs and concerns are addressed.
